Ragnar Kjartansson (Iceland) has in a multidisciplinary work of art had an Icelandic fishing boat rebuilt. SS Hangover has throughout the entire exhibition period (1 June – 24 November) sailed back and forth in the Arsenale dock in Venice. The boat is navigated by a serious captain in a white captain’s hat, and six brass musicians in the boat perform a melancholic piece composed by Kjartan Sveinsson. The experience is magical.
